Facebook link on connect
I have inputted my contacts fb page, and it says "success" when I do, however, when I am in the dashboard and I go to "connect" and I click on the Facebook link, I get redirected to teamzy. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Lindsay, I'm guessing you are clicking the Facebook link listed under the contact "Details" in the Up Next box. This link will take you to their Facebook page if you enter their facebook link on their full record and save it there. (This doesn't import with their Facebook contacts as Facebook won't export those URLs.) If you haven't saved a link in their record, this link will redirect back to the Teamzy dashboard.
The easiest way to work quickly and efficiently in Teamzy is to have a separate tab already open to Facebook. Then you can toggle between them quickly, sending messages in Facebook, and copying and pasting them back into Teamzy so you have them recorded.

We agree it would be fabulous if we could put those links in there automatically for you. That's how we initially programmed it--but Facebook changed their API securities and it's no longer possible.
What you can do is when you are connecting with someone, copy and paste their social media URL into Teamzy on their contact details. Once you've done this once, those links will work on an on-going basis for that contact.

No you need to make the field a hyperlink so if we manual add it or import it into this fields ourselves which I know how to get them even though facebook doesn't allow it, then we can click and it re-directsw to their profile or inbox messanges. I can teach the ladies how to get the urls via excel and sync up against their contacts before importing but this is useless if you can't have access to click their fb link and it go directly to it from teamzy. I can't get it to work. I have put the correct links against the contacts and the direct inbox messages per contact in notes and nothing is CLICKABLE! nobody wants to copy/paste urls all dang day. I'll stick to my excel file if I have no option to click.

This is still an issue, and a small one to be fixed easily by the website dev team...
The issue is you guys currently have a place holder URL (https://app.teamzy.com/Main/Dashboard.aspx) in all social links when viewing a customer/coach under Details.
This "dummy" URL needs removed. Because it is there, even when a person's actual FB URL is saved, the new URL under details turns to "https://app.teamzy.com/Main/www.facebook.com/profile"... it's just adding the profile URL to the end of the "dummy" URL.
If the dummy is taken out, the social links will be clickable and work fine!

To add to this. I'm currently doing your trial and that one simple fix would make me want to become a permanent customer. It's an easy thing to do and I cannot see how it would be a violation of Facebooks security policies to provide a link to a person. We still have to provide our own valid credentials to get in.
