Search tool is awful!

I am primarily using my mobile phone and when searching names often the names I've already entered do not come up… So I will repeatedly erase what I have done and reenter the name and eventually it comes up… However this is annoying and time-consuming!
Also if I've forgotten that I have added somebody and then I add them twice I'm finding multiple entries of the same name.
